The problem

Zendesk Guide theme imports fail late, after upload, on settings keys, translations, Curlybars syntax or manifest schema. AI coding agents working without Zendesk-specific guidance repeat the same mistakes.

What I built

  • validate_theme.py: a local pre-import linter for settings, translations, Curlybars and manifests.
  • deploy_theme.py: packs, imports or updates, and publishes a theme through the Guide Themes API, ready for CI/CD.
  • A Copenhagen v4 starter theme on the current Curlybars API.
  • Seven reference guides, plus rule files for AI coding assistants.

Open source, MIT licensed.
